Mark Tucker is the Chief Strategy Officer for United Way of the Columbia-Willamette in Portland, Oregon, as well as Past-President of the United Ways of the Pacific Northwest. He began his nonprofit career right after college as an intern for a hospital foundation and an international trade association. While completing his Masters in Nonprofit Management, Mark became involved with United Way of Weld County (Colorado) as Director of Marketing and Community Development and was then hired as Executive Director of United Way of North Idaho in Coeur d’Alene, a role he served for more than ten years. feels very fortunate to continue the work of United Way back in the northwest where he grew up. Mark and his wife Lisa are empty nesters and enjoy hiking, motorcycling, kayaking, and snowboarding.
