Katherine Wiley will be leading the conversation on DEI in the workplace. Katherine has a career focus on advancing equity among communities and within organizations. Katherine holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus on participatory leadership with communities and organizations. She has been providing direct support services to individuals and communities for over 12 years. Katherine identifies as a lifelong learner and is always looking to expand her horizons.

South Metro Young Business Professionals is a dynamic group of young business professionals designed to provide professional and personal development, quality networking and mentoring opportunities to those in their 20's and 30's who work in the Wilsonville, Tualatin, Sherwood, West Linn, Tigard, and Canby areas.

The program is a workforce development initiative of the Wilsonville Area Chamber of Commerce and is designed to help attract, retain and meet the unique needs of young professionals (ages 21 ? 40) throughout the South Metro region.

The program offers monthly events for its members, ranging from professional development and training programs to networking opportunities. Monthly activities serve to connect young professionals to the community and provide them with meaningful opportunities to interact with others in their age group, as well as with business and community leaders.
