He will discuss “Refutees: From Tents to Tees” and weave his personal story with his life and business lessons. “Seek knowledge, spread peace” is the motto Hussein follows in all things personal and professional. He is a local business owner, graduate of Portland State University, School of Architecture and serves on the Oregon Commission on Asian Pacific Islander Affairs. His passion for art, design, and the community led him to turn his hobby of printing t-shirts for friends and family, into a thriving screen printing business.
