Health & Wellness Wednesday via ZOOM: “Navigating Senior Care with a Team”

Three members in the senior health care area will share with you their aspect of care and caregiving, how they provide a team for coordinated help for your loved one’s condition, and answer your questions, whether you are facing this now or expect to in the future.

My name is Bess Lindahl, and I am a senior placement advisor for Living Well. My goal is to make the process of searching for senior living as smooth as possible and alleviate the anxiety that accompanies this major life change. I have been a caregiver for most of my life and treasure the opportunity to help seniors and their families. After a thorough interview with you or your family, I narrow down the many choices in senior living and complete a thorough site tour to make sure the community is an appropriate match before we tour the community together, all at no cost to you.

Jason Gore is the Director of Operations at the Portland office of Family Matters In-Home Care. Family Matters is a family owned and operated in-home care agency, serving the Tri-County Area (Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas). We provide compassionate, quality, non-medical caregiver services with the ultimate goal of allowing the client to remain in the comfort of his or her own home. 

Bill Cohen experienced first-hand all the issues of dementia and aging with his late mother. As a Caregiving Support Consultant and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, he is a guide and coordinator for family caregivers and provides you with advice, support, and resources, and referrals to trustworthy service providers. He is also a speaker, support group facilitator, volunteer, and an advocate for a cure.  

Our mission is to promote the sharing of health-related resources and information while providing a forum for networking and education for local traditional and alternative health care professionals.
