Health & Wellness Wednesday - Team Rehab of Bridgeport

This power-packed hour is focused on health care partners and Tualatin community citizens wanting to network with other healthcare professionals while learning about the medical specialties available in our community. Attendance is FREE, for members & non-members. Please bring guests! We do request that you RSVP.

This May's presentation will be by Dr. Kyle Zabst, titled "The Prevalence of ACL Tears"

Dr. Zabst will be covering the importance of:
1) Anatomy of the knee
2) Screening tools and the predisposition of ACL tears
3) Exercise programs that can help prevent ACL tears
4) Research on what methods have helped decrease the prevalence of ACL tears

Dr. Kyle Zabst, Team Rehab of Bridgeport
Dr. Zabst started his journey as many others in the medial field, injured. Kyle had an injury to his lower back and saw a chiropractor to help him return to playing high school athletics. From there Dr. Zabst knew that what he wanted to do with his life is help other people get out of pain.
 
Dr. Zabst attended New Mexico State University to attain his Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training and is a board certified Athletic Trainer. While he was a student, Kyle worked specifically with Men's Football, Women's Soccer, Men's Basketball and Men's Baseball and the high honor of working with the Rodeo team. After graduation, Kyle was the athletic trainer for Simi Valley High School.
 
To further his education and chase his dream of becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Zabst attended the University of Western States, where he received a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology and his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2015. Kyle also completed his boards to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 2016.
