Art In The Burbs

Local Artists Help Student Artists During Art in the Burbs Festival: October 13-14 Enjoy original works from over 85 juried artists’, all available for sale. You will find jewelry, ceramics, exterior art, cards, textiles and more. Delicious Portland food trucks, live musical entertainment and a student art gallery will also be at the show. Tualatin High School is the new location for the annual Art in the Burbs Festival event. Last year, the event raised $35,600 for student art programs. The non-profit program raises funds through a 20% commission on all sales during the 2-day arts event. Event proceeds support performing and fine art programs in all Tigard-Tualatin schools (elementary, middle and high school). Grants are awarded to each school to use exclusively for Arts programs, including music, fine art, performing art, and writing.
